AKV St. Joost Breda – School project
This project was for my exhibition in TAC Eindhoven where I worked together with Lisanne Versteeg, an animator/illustrator.
We think that you’re often forced to hold back because of all the rules that are present during an exhibition.
You can’t touch anything, you have to be quiet and above all, you’re not supposed to tamper with the art.
There is no personal connection. We think that those rules cause you to feel distant from the work. So we made it personal.
You can change a Mondriaan artwork with your face. When you are doing this, a webcam starts recording this and it creates
an art piece with your face through face tracking. But we claim the copyright. Something you made is ours.
